Six missiles were fired at Erbil, Iraq. The rockets were reportedly fired from the Al-Hamdaniya district of the Nineveh Governorate in northern Iraq. Iraqi security forces said that the six missiles targeted the KAR Group oil refinery and caused a fire to erupt in one of the main oil tanks. They also said that the fire was brought under control.

An earlier report by the Kurdistan Directorate General of Counterterrorism had said that the missiles landed along the Great Zab riverbank in the Khabat district. They had said that there had been no injuries or material damage reported as a result of the airstrikes.
