Russian Minister of Foreign Affairs Lavrov in Iran to discuss Nuclear & Other Types of Cooperation

"In all the countries experiencing the negative influence of the selfish line taken by the United States and its satellites, there arises the objective need to reconfigure their economic relations so they can avoid relying on the whims and vagaries of our Western partners," - Sergey Lavrov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation

Both countries, Iran and the Russian Federation, are all under sanctions from western countries. Russia, for their invasion in Ukraine, and Iran for not abiding by international guidelines to dismantle it's nuclear arsenal & harboring terrorist organizations. Leadership from the 2 countries are seeking have seen a need to adapt to what they call western aggressive policies.

The 2 countries are working on strategic bartering in which they will be exchanging supplies for oil and gas as well as establishing a logistics framework to support both countries.
