Explosions Reported At U.S. Base On Syrian-Iraqi Border

Multiple explosions have been reported at a U.S. base on the Syrian-Iraqi border in the Al-Omar oil field in Deir Ez-Zur in Eastern Syria.

Sabereen News reported that at least two blasts were heard in the US base in the al-Omar oil field in the Dayr al-Zawr province near the Syrian-Iraqi border early Monday.

Russia had carried out airstrikes on the al-Tanf garrison U.S. military base located near Syria's border with Jordan in southeast Syria on June 15th after it had first notified the United States of its intentions.
