EU Court Case Filed By Ukraine Against Russia

At the European Court of Human Rights, in an effort to end what Ukraine calls, "the mass and gross human rights violations," which have been incurred by the hand of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Ukraine has now formally filed a court case.

The court case is only symbolic in nature, as the Russian Parliament has approved 2 bills, removing the European Court of Human Rights' jurisdiction from Russia, which went into effect on June the 7th.

"The Court will be invited to find that Russia has been guilty of the most flagrant, serious and sustained violations of the Convention ever placed before the Court, and to award just satisfaction on an equally unprecedented scale," - Ukrainian Court Filing

The Kremlin has vehemently denied all accusations of human rights violations, and accuses the west of conjuring up false deeds to use against it.
