Chinese Coast Guard Ships Intrude And Leave Japanese Waters

Two Chinese Coast Guard vessels intruded and then left Japanese territorial waters around the Senkaku Islands, leaving the territory on Sunday morning after having intruded the day before, according to Japan Times.

The two Chinese Haijing high-speed patrol vessels left Japanese waters at around 11:25 a.m. on Sunday after 'repeatedly moving in and out' of the areas 'in line' with the movements of a Japanese fishing boat, according to officials from the Japanese regional Coast Guard headquarters.

Japan Times says that the 'Japanese-administered islands' in the East China Sea are claimed by China and that China calls the islands Diaoyu.
