Blast Kills Two At The Sikh Temple In Kabul, Afghanistan

A blast has been reported in a Sikh temple in Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan on Saturday morning, according to a temple official.

The temple official Gornam Singh told Reuters that "There were around 30 people inside the temple. We don't know how many of them are alive or how many dead. The Taliban are not allowing us to go inside, we don't know what to do".

*Update*, at least two people were killed in the blast, and seven were injured according to officials. Among those who died were one Sikh worshiper and one Taliban fighter who was killed during the clearing operation according to Reuters, who quoted a spokesman for the Kabul commander.

No group has yet taken responsibility for the blast.
