Release from the Belarus Ministry of Defense regarding the pre-planned military mobilization exercises in the Gomel region that will last until July 1st, 2022:
From June 22 to July 1, 2022, in accordance with the Training Plan of the Armed Forces in the 2021/2022 academic year, under the leadership of the Chief of the main organizational and mobilization department - the Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, a mobilization exercise with the military commissariats of the Gomel region is held.
The exercise is held annually. Last year, a similar exercise was held with military commissariats of the Mogilev region.
The aim was to test the readiness of the military commissariats to carry out tasks.
During the exercise, the issues of recruitment of reserve conscripts to the military commissariats will be worked through. During their stay at the military training camp, the military personnel will be trained.
In the course of the exercise, the military commissariats will carry out measures to notify and submit persons liable for military duty to the points of dispatch to military units. After the formation of appropriate teams, the draftees will be sent to their place of residence, thus the issue will be checked - controlling notification.
In order to carry out the notification and collection of persons liable for military service, appropriate points of notification and collection will be deployed at the points of dispatch.
In order to create a situation close to the real one, during the exercise, the participation of units of special operations forces of the Armed Forces is planned.
The main feature of the upcoming mobilization exercise, in contrast to past mobilization exercises in the military commissariats of other regions, is that the supply of mobilization resources to military units is not planned, and the persons called up to military commissariats for training will participate in the mobilization exercise in the military commissariats
