22 Chinese military aircraft have entered Taiwan's Air Defense Identification Zone (ADIZ) today, June 23rd, 2022.
The Chinese military aircraft included 10 J-16 fighter jets, 5 JH-7 fighter bombers, two KJ-500 airborne early warning and control (AEW&C) aircraft, two Y-8 anti-submarine warfare (ASW) aircraft, two H-6 nuclear-capable bombers, and one Y-8 electronic warfare (EW) aircraft.
CAP aircraft were tasked, radio warnings were issued and air defense missile systems were deployed in order to monitor the activity of the Chinese military aircraft.
