18 Chinese military aircraft has entered Taiwan's Air Defense Identification Zone (ADIZ) on May 6th, 2022.
The Chinese military aircraft included six J-16 fighter jets, six J-11 fighter jets, two H-6 bombers, two KJ-500 Airborn early warning and control (AEW&C), one Y-8 Electronic Warfare (EW) aircraft, and one Y-8 Anti-submarine warfare (ASW) aircraft.
CAP aircraft were tasked, radio warnings were issued to the Chinese aircraft and air defense systems were deployed to track the planes.
