10 Chinese military aircraft entered Taiwan's Air Defense Identification Zone in the southwest corner on June 19th, 2022, making it the 8th day of intrusions into Taiwan's ADIZ so far this month.
The military aircraft that entered the ADIZ included 4 Shenyang J-16 fighter jets, two Chengdu J-10 fighter planes, two Shenyang J-11 jet fighters, and one KJ-500 airborne early warning and control plane according to Taiwan's Ministry of National Defense (MND). One Xian H-6 bomber also entered the southwest and southeast corners of Taiwan's ADIZ.
Taiwan responded to the incursion by sending out aircraft to intercept the Chinese planes, broadcasting radio warnings and deploying air defense missile systems in order to monitor the activity of the aircraft.
