Ukraine has claimed that Russia used phosphorous munitions in the town of Marinka, Donetsk region. Our intel team suspected this after seeing many videos showing what looked like phosphorous being dropped from the sky in Ukraine.
Head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration Pavlo Kyrylenko stated, "The Russians used phosphorous munitions again – today in Marinka. Dozens of fires were detected in the town, they were put out by State Emergency Service staff".
Ukrainian news Ukrinform said that Heorhiyivka, Novokalynove, and Ocheretyne also came under fire leaving several houses damaged. No civilian casualties have been reported however, according to the news site which also said that Avdiivka was cut off from power as a result of the shelling.
