U.S. Military Aircraft Crashes Off East Coast With Three People Onboard

A U.S. Military aircraft has crashed off the east coast, off of Wallops Island, Virginia. One person is missing and two others sustained injuries but have been rescued.

Rescue services and the Virginia coastguard were rushed to the scene of the crash, where the aircraft was partially submerged in the water for a while. Local reports said that one person was stuck inside of the aircraft while it was partially submerged, and two others were found outside of the plane, allegedly with broken legs.

The survivors were taken to Wallops by boat where they were taken to the Tidal Health Hospital in Salisbury. Rescue divers were sent to the scene of the crash to search for the missing person, after which the U.S. Navy reportedly confirmed the death of one person.
