Turkey Agrees To Support Finland And Sweden In Joining NATO Alliance

Secretary-General of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization Jens Stoltenberg has announced that Turkey has agreed to support both Finland and Sweden in joining the NATO alliance.

A joint memorandum was reportedly signed on Tuesday regarding the matter by Turkey, Finland, and Sweden.
Stoltenberg told reporters at the NATO summit in Madrid, "I am pleased to announce that we now have an agreement that paves the way for Finland and Sweden to join NATO".

"Turkey, Finland, and Sweden have signed a memorandum that addresses Turkey's concerns, including around arms exports and the fight against terrorism," he added.
