Secretary of State to travel to Germany, France, & the UAE | May 14-16

Between the 14th and 16th of May, The U.S. Secretary of State Anthony Blinkin will be traveling to Europe and the Middle East.

On the 14th of May, U.S. Secretary of State Anthony Blinkin will travel to Berlin. He will be in attendance at a meeting of NATO Foreign Ministers to discuss a response to Russia's war of aggression on Ukraine as well as the Leader's Summit which will be held in Madrid, Spain. At the Leader's Summit, they will discuss the next 10 years in regard to NATO strategic concepts.

On the 15th of May, Blinkin will attend the ministerial meeting of the Trade and Technology Council in Paris France. He will be joined by the Secretary of Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo & the U.S. Trade Representative Katherine Tai. They will also meet with business and civil society stakeholders to review the work that has been accomplished and planned work that has been lined out by the Trade and Technology Council.

On the 16th of May, Blinkin will join the Vice President Kamala Harris in paying respects and offering condolences on behalf of the U.S. for the passing of Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
