Russian And Belarusian Arrested In Poland On Suspicion Of Espionage

Two men, one Russian citizen, and one Belarusian citizen have been arrested by the Polish military police on suspicion of espionage, according to the leading radio station in Poland, RMF 24. Both men had lived in Poland for 'many years' according to the station.

The Military Counterintelligence Service findings state that the Russian and Belarusian men had been gathering intelligence on military units of allied forces and acted on behalf of the intelligence services of the Russian Federation.

The two men were arrested in Bialystok, Poland, and the Polish court has ordered the men to be detained for three months.
