Russia is redirecting its troops located in Syria, in the Middle East to eastern and southern Ukraine according to a report by The Moscow Times.
On April 16th, Russia signaled that they were going to be moving troops from Syria to Ukraine after Russia had suffered heavy losses during their invasion of the country which reportedly forced Russia not to rotate its 'Syrian' units.
The Moscow Times also notes that Turkey had barred Russia from flying aircraft to Syria from Turkish airspace until April 23rd which restricted Russia's options and forced Russia to relocate its forces in Donbas, Ukraine.
