Rockets Reported To Have Been Fired At Al-Assad Air Base Housing U.S. Led Coalition Troops

Explosions are reported to have been heard near the village of Al-Sahel, around Ain Al-Assad Air Base in Anbar, western Iraq housing U.S.-led coalition troops.

Unconfirmed reports have stated that multiple rockets were fired at the base and landed inside the perimeter, and that smoke and fire has been seen in the military installation.

Six grad 122mm rockets are reported to have targeted the Ain Al-Assad base in Anbar, western Iraq housing U.S. No casualties have been reported yet, though damages have been reported. No group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack.
