Prime Minister Kiril Petkov & The Bulgarian Government Dissolves In A Vote of No Confidence

On Wednesday, a no-confidence vote has brought down Bulgaria's Government along with the Prime Minister, Kiril Petkov. Petkov had made an earnest pledge to take down corruption in Bulgaria and had stood by NATO against Russia in its invasion of Ukraine.

Lawmakers in the opposition won the no-confidence vote, 123 to 116 after the government lost it's edge over spending and supporting the allowance of North Macedonia Accession to the EU.

Even though the majority of the world is undergoing an extreme rise in inflation, Bulgaria's government has been accused of failing when it comes to implementing sustainable policy regarding the Bulgarian economy.

We've already seen earlier the dissolution of the Israeli government. Will this be a continuing trend across the globe?

This will make the 5th governmental election seen for Bulgaria since April 2021.
