The Pentagon says that they will not define Russia's fighting in East Ukraine as a stalemate, as they are still making progress, though incremental.

The Pentagon has also stated that the United States has seen indications of Ukrainians being moved into Russia from Ukraine against their will.
As far as the second Russian ship that is said to have been hit by Ukraine, a U.S. official has said that U.S. intelligence does not have any evidence that a second ship was actually struck by Ukraine.

Russian battalion tactical groups within Ukraine have also increased from 92 last week, to now 97.
