Round the clock shelling has left Ukraine's forces defending the ruins of Sievierodonetsk; but their reluctance to withdraw has slowed the Russian offensive across the Donbas region.
The Russians "use the same tactics over and over again. They shell for several hours - for three, four, five hours - in a row and then attack", Serhiy Gaidai said.
