Four NATO Warships Spotted Through English Channel

Four NATO warships that had departed from Hamburg, Germany were spotted traveling through the English Channel just off the Kent coast on May 17th.

The four vessels included A833, F802, 330, and F262. A833 and F802 flew the Netherlands flag, 330 flew the Canadian flag, and F262 flew the flag of Germany with F802 and F262 leading the other two vessels.

The two vessels leading are headed south-west, having passed Deal and currently nearing the coast of Dover, while the two trailing vessels are near the coast of Margate and Ramsgate.

All of the ships are military vessels, though the reason for the voyage is currently unknown, as is their destination which is not listed on the Marine Vessel Traffic website.

The Marine Vessel Traffic website does list a number of the ship's ports, however, which include Poland, Sweden, Latvia, and Estonia.
