China Sends 30 Military Aircraft Into Taiwan's ADIZ

China sent 30 military aircraft into Taiwan's Air Defense Identification Zone (ADIZ) on Monday, which is the largest incursion on the island's ADIZ since January and caused Taiwan to scramble their fighter own fighter jets.

The Chinese military aircraft that entered Taiwan's ADIZ included 8 J-11 fighter jets, six J-16 fighter jets, four J-10 fighters, four Y-8 Electronic Intelligence (ELINT) aircraft, 2 SU-35, two SU-30, one Y-8 Electronic Warfare (EW) aircraft and one Y-8 Anti-submarine warfare (ASW) plane.

According to the map provided by Taiwan's Ministry of National Defense, the Chinese aircraft traveled into the southwestern part of Taiwan's ADIZ, northeast of Pratas island which is administered by Taiwan.

Taiwan sent out fighter jets and issued radio warnings to warn the Chinese planes away, and deployed missile systems to monitor the aircraft.
