Capital Police In Islamabad, Pakistan Put Security On High Alert

Capital police in Islamabad, Pakistan have put security on high alert for the next 48 hours across the district, with "no unnecessary movement" allowed.
The Islamabad Police put out the following statements:

"Islamabad Capital Police has put security on high alert for the next 48 hours across the district. IG Islamabad Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan has issued security high alert orders. Checking has been increased on all entry and exit routes".

"Security has been tightened at all police stations, important buildings, and important installations. Additional police personnel has been deployed in the red zone. Strict checking is going on at the entry and exit points of the red zone. No unnecessary movement will be allowed. Citizens are requested to cooperate with the police during checking".
