Bulgarian Centrist Coalition Government facing no Confidence Vote by Opposing Party

In eastern Europe, The currently sitting government lead by Bulgarian Prime Minister Kiril Petkov will face a vote of no confidence which has been brought to the table by the GERB Party.

The current government is being accused by the party of the former prime minister Boyko Borissov, of misdirection in the realm of economic policy and public finance which has lead to massive inflation within a country that has already experienced hyper-inflation in the 90s.

The national statistical institute stated that the consumer price index record in Bulgaria was reported at 15.6% in May which is the highest increased recorded since 2008 year to year.

The current government is also being accused of ignoring the national interests of Bulgaria by it's liaising with North Macedonia who would like to join the European Union.
