Ukraine's military stated (based on translation) that the Deputy Minister of the United Kingdom James Gippi had announced the transfer of anti-ship missiles in the parliament, citing BBC news.

Brimstone missiles are ground or air-launched 'fire and forget' attack missiles that use an active radar homing seeker that allows for a high level of accuracy even against moving targets.

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson said that Britain was studying various platforms in which the missiles could be installed, including cars.
Ukraine's military said that Britain said that there had been progress in their experiments installing them on various platforms and that the missiles will be delivered to Ukraine 'in the coming weeks'.

The Ukrainian military said that the Brimstone missile is a "surface to surface or air to air missile' that is 'equipped with a new radar homing head, which is capable of capturing objects'.

They also said that the new version gives the missile a range of 60 kilometers (37 miles) when launched from aircraft, or 10 to 12 kilometers (6 to 7.5 miles) when launched from the ground.
