Belarus has begun large-scale snap drills to test combat readiness, according to the Belarusian defense ministry.
The Belarus defense ministry put out a statement regarding the drills that stated, "It is planned that the (combat readiness) test will involve the movement of significant numbers of military vehicles, which can slow down traffic on public roads".
The defense ministry said that the drills do not pose a threat to the country's neighbors, or to the European community.
