29 Chinese Military Aircraft Enter Taiwan's ADIZ


29 Chinese military aircraft entered Taiwan's southwest Air Defense Identification Zone (ADIZ) on June 21st, 2022 according to Taiwan's Ministry of National Defense.

The Chinese military aircraft included Eight J-16 fighter jets, six H-6 nuclear-capable bombers, five J-11 fighter jets, four SU-30 multi-role fighter jets, two KJ-1500 Airborne Early Warning & Control aircraft, one Y-9 Electronic Warfare (EW) plane, one Y-8 Electronic Intelligence (ELINT) aircraft, one Y-20 Aerial Refueling aircraft and one Y-8 Antisubmarine Warfare (ASW) plane.

Taiwan's Ministry of Defense said (translated) "The Air Force should act as Reactions: Dispatch air patrol forces to respond, broadcast expulsion, and monitor anti-aircraft missiles. CAP aircraft tasked, radio warnings issued and air defense missile systems deployed to monitor the activities".
