13 people were shot after a 'mass shooting' at a grocery store in Buffalo, New York that left 10 dead.

The shooting, which is being investigated as a hate crime allegedly involved an 18-year-old male who was live-streaming the shooting online at the time at the Tops Friendly Markets on Jefferson Avenue after he had traveled for hours outside of Buffalo, New York.

The Buffalo Police Department put out an alert saying, "BPD on the scene of a mass shooting at the Tops in the 1200 block of Jefferson Avenue. Police say multiple people have been struck by gunfire. The shooter is in custody. Motorists and residents are urged to avoid the area".
